So, for the past fre monts my photosop went to good to bad permormance, even drawing in a new document with the basic brush was laggy. I have a laptop with 16 gb of ram, an intel i7 11800H and a RTX 3070. I tried a lot of thing but the one that worked was deactivating graphic processor on the permormance prefereces of photoshop. Why? Ins't that supposed to increase performance? is this a bug or am i getting something wrong?

Apk, see above. If disabling the GPU improves it, bypassing that component, then you know where the problem is. Update the driver, disable the integrated GPU.

If it's a laptop, dual graphics tend to conflict and you may need to disable the integrated Intel GPU. It's a well known problem with laptops.

In the meantime, go to Nvidia's site and update the driver with the studio driver (not game ready).

Can you post Help > System Info so someone may be able to spot problem like outdated driver or similar.
