banding, smart filter and color issues...

Soms strange issues over here...
lately I see that I have much more problemes with banding when I edit. And they are really high res files
second, since the update ,when I stack smart filters on top of each other, I get strange results
When I first convert the file with one filter applied and then apply another filter , all goes well
But that's not what I want off course
And third, when I import a file , the colors seem much more satured then when I view them outside photoshop
I know, probably a color issue but no idea how to resolve it
Did not change anything in my colour settings or profiles and never had that issue before
Hope anyone can help , thanks in advance

You have not provided any exact info and are losing yourself in vagueries. By all means do a better job and provide actual techznical information about your settings, your systems, your files and so on. Your last issue can easily be resolved by just reading up on how color managment actually works and how to configure it. The rest can be anything, but we realyl can't know based on your poor information (or total lack of it for that matter).

my settings are mostly the standard photoshop settings and have never been changed as I stated before .Meaning I have worked with no problems with those same settings untill the latest update. Also the color settings have not changed So the chance that my problems are setting-related are not likely at first sight. I was just thinking that maybe others had some of the same issues after the latest update and so I posted the question to see if that was the case or not. That's all.No need to answer somebody in such a dramatic  "by all means, losing yourself" kinda way.

It sounds like you have a bad display profile. These bad profiles are quite frequently issued from the display manufacturer, and distributed through Windows Update.

The way to fix this is to use a calibrator to make a new profile - but if you don't have one, use sRGB IEC61966-2.1 for now. You set this up in the Windows Color Management dialog. Relaunch Photoshop so that it can load the new profile at startup:

If that's not it, try to disable GPU in Photoshop Preferences. If that makes it look better, there's a problem with the driver and you should look for a newer version.
