Batch Action to convert 3 smart objects to linked files within the source folder of the PSD?

I have huge amount of .psd's that are all in separate folders, within those folders I want them to export out some smart objects as linked .psd's.

I have set up a photoshop action in the first .psd to do this and it works, however it always goes back into that same directory of the first .psd I did it to. Is there a way I can set it to work only within the route folder of the .psd I am attempting to apply the action to?

You probably need a Script; maybe ask for help over at

but please explain the procedure, Layers-structure and file-structure better that that, possibly with the help of screenshots.
