Batch processing and actions in PS CS2 Full version on PC

I need to capture images and batch process to rename ,adjust color and place adjusted images in a new folder.

When I set up batch processing it seems to save the files in the folder of origin with the original name instead of following the photo call I set up in Batch.

Any hints or walk throughs that will get me going in the right direction?
