Question

Better versions of Lightroom and Photoshop?

I'm writing the community here in hopes that both Adobe sees this as well as other users.

After using Photoshop and Lightroom for all of 3 months I have had tickets in to them each week. I can't believe how buggy saving is on the platform. When I select a photo in Lightroom to save to Photoshop It always stalls at 99%. This has been after going through multiple tickets with Adobe and them "fixing" the issue each time. And here I am today looking at the same problem of Photoshop not saving and stalling at 99%. I have spent the last 3 hours on a photo and now I have to quit the program.

I've decided to move off the platform. Anyone have any ideas about other programs? I hear a lot about Capture 1...

This is a problem with Catalina saving to exFAT formatted external drives. Look around the forum, there are hundreds of posts. Most likely a fix is required from both Apple and Adobe.

Avoid saving directly to the external. Save locally, then copy the file over. This is in any case the safe procedure. Also format the drive to APFS unless you need it to work cross-platform Mac/Win.
