Big Sur and Latest Photoshop all updated today and Clone Stamp Does Not Work.

Updates are usually a pretty safe thing to do, but now, on my mac with updated to Big Sur OS and also the latest version of Photoshop, the Clone stamp will not give the 'anchor point' by holding down the option key like it has for the past 40 years... now it will not give the clone point no matter which key I press and I tried many combinations before posting here... Is there a known issue with this? Will there be an update to fix? This is a pretty important tool to not have working now. Any Ideas?

I was able to resolve this problem by quiting all apps, shutting down the machine and restarting. Clone stamp source point now works so problem solved.
