Question

Bizarre issue, 1 color = 2 colors.

I am just suddenly experiencing this, it is very Bizarre and odd. This is how it is happening:

- I use the lasso Tool and select an area.

- Fill in the area with the bucket tool, at 100% opacity.

- I use the brush tool with the same color and go around the edges at 100% opacity.

- The brush comes in at a slightly different color. Same if I use the bucket tool again.

So, this defies all logic. I am really baffled as to how I could possibly get this issue. Thank you for any help.

What version of photoshop and operating system are you using?

With the Brush Tool selected check that the Mode is Normal and Opacity and Flow are 100%

You could post a screenshot so we can see the settings.

Can you do the things I mention above, but with the fill tool at 1 tolerance and see if you get the same effect? I have the CC cloud version and I'm using windows 10.

    Hi Dylan

I am on CC2017 and Windows 10 here

I get identical colours - as measured with the eyedropper.

Did you check the Mode, Opacity and Flow for the brush as suggested by R Kelly?
