Blur along a path : Why when I change the speed of one point it changes the speed of all points ?

Hi,
it's all in the title. It didn't use to do that.
Somehow now when I apply a blur along a path, if I change the speed of one point it changes the speed of all points from all paths.

Does anybody know why ?

Pretty pissed of with photoshop and Adobe right now. Lame customer service. They used to make more reliable software.

Such waste of time trying to figure out why there is once more a bug / a problem...

I am not taken with the exclusive Cloud License model myself …

I cannot set different speeds to points, all points of all path have the same speed. If I change the speed of one point (no matter if if's a point in the middle, at the end or beginning of the path) it changes the speed of all points.

I think one is intended only to be able to set one general speed and one for each end point. (Edited)

I use Virtual rig for this, meant for adding blur to stationary car shots normally but can be used to add blur to anything. Allows you to add multiple 'path blurs' eacg with its own speed and also add points where you dont want blur.

You do not even call the feature that is giving you problems by its correct name or provide screenshots to illustrate the issue, so maybe you may want to tone down the attitude.

Are you talking about End Point Speed?

I was not trying to be rude or offensive with anyone here.
I was in a middle of a very important task for a customer and I lacked time, so discovering all of a sudden that that feature of PS stopped working for no reason was pretty annoying.

I'm just saying Adobe charges its customers a lot each month and the quality of their support is just not what it should be in my opinion.

We are on a forum if I understood correctly. So you don't owe me anything and I'm grateful you guys take the time to answer me. Doesn't change how I feel about Adobe.

There is not really a screenshot I can provide. I'll try describing the problem another way. Please take into account that mine is a french version, hence maybe some slight difference in how I call functions or options. Basically when I use the "blur along a path" (in the "blur effects gallery"), I cannot set different speeds to points, all points of all path have the same speed. If I change the speed of one point (no matter if if's a point in the middle, at the end or beginning of the path) it changes the speed of all points.
And I'm not crazy, I know it used not to behave that way not so long ago

Could you post the contents of help>System Info (PC) or Photoshop>System Info (Mac) so that we've got more information to be able to help you.

Did you try any troubleshooting steps, like restarting PS, recreating its preferences ?

I restarted PS and PC. I did not reset PS however. I didnt think about it to be honnest, and my experience in general with setting preferences back to original is that you lose time after to get it back the way it was without the benefice of solving the problem.

I restarted PS and PC. I did not reset PS however. I didnt think about it to be honnest, and my experience in general with setting preferences back to original is that you lose time after to get it back the way it was without the benefice of solving the problem.

Your experience might be letting you down – on these Fora restoring Preferences has proven time and again to be an important step in troubleshooting unexplainable Photoshop issues.

As for having to restore certain settings: No denying that it is inconvenient but it can be at least partly automated and it is a good reminder that one should regularly save one’s Presets, Workspaces etc. anyway.
