Brush behave differently between CC 2019 and CS 6

Question

I have a brush in CS 6 that I use that behaves differently in CC 2019? The edge in CC doesn't have the fade that CS 6 has and I played with the settings, but not successful. I have a Wacom and tried playing with the settings, and still not successful.

Any suggestions?

Also, is there a way of over-writing brush settings rather than creating a new brush to save tweaked settings?

Not by default.

Anyway: The warning triangles in the Transfer part of the Brush Settings Panel should tell you something.
