Brush/Eraser Glitch

Hi guys,

I have the photoshop Brush and Eraser keys set to buttons on my wacom cintiq remote!!  A really annoying glitch happens when I switch from brush to eraser as in when I switch to eraser from brush; it functions as an eraser for a quick second, automatically switches to brush and I usually have to lift up my pen to get back to eraser.  And it often happens vice versa also!!  Is this happening to anyone else?  And also, is there a fix?
