Brush issue

Hi all!

I don't know how to fix this Photoshop issue. When I click using the brush tool (using a mouse or a tablet), the ink doesn't not appear. I have to drag it a few inches to make it ink. This is a bit frustrating because I can't make small strokes. I made a gif to show you the problem:

Do you know any solution?

It looks like your brush is set to fade in, meaning that until you click and move it won't draw. Try choosing a default round brush and see if it corrects the problem.

Oh, the default round brush works fine. I didn't notice that I was having the issue only when using some new brushes I got a couple days ago. Disabling and enabling again "scattering" in this brushes solves the problem, it's really weird...

I'm using Photoshop CC 2017, Windows 10, 24GB RAM and a GTX 970M.

The brush is performing the way it's suppose to from your settings. Starts out at almost nothing, builds up than fades out again. I need to spend some more time in the brush panel to try and get a grasp on what each item does. Made a few brushes in the past but stumble through creating them.

I do not have that problem on my windows workstation. A single left click lays down ink no mouse movement required.
