Hi, so everytime I draw I make a stroke and then a second later the it displays on screen so everytime i try to do quick curves with a stroke it comes out as a straight line and its very fustrating, I keep having to restart the app in order for it to be repsonsive and then a few minutes later it happens again, I tried reseting my peference, turning off everything in my brush settings and it still happens.

Any idea why?

Thanks Jakhir

It works now, I restarted the app but launched it through my creative cloud instead of my desktop and it hasn't lagged since.

    Thanks!

Check brush smoothing and reduce that back down until the brush begins to act normally.  Some of the newer builds have that turned up by default and our brushes slow to a crawl until we figure it out.

It would help if you told us what exact version of Photoshop and operating system you have, also your PC system specs

Since this fixes after restart and smoothing is off , you likley have some infection on your windows running  a background process. Review your task manager, and delete your cache and cookies in your web browsers.

You can also do a system restore to a date before this started happening, as can be hard to find if in HKEYs.

Can we also see your performance settings.
