Question

Brush Texture settings in Photoshop for iPad

I've just gotten started with Photoshop for the iPad. I've been using Photoshop in general for over 20 years. I've moved some of my custom made brushed onto the iPad version & I've noticed that there seems to be no access to the texture setting for brushes & the texture (pattern) from the original brush seems not to be applied. Am I missing something or is this feature not included in the iPad version?

Thanks

Just wondering if you have seen Patie's thread on custom brushes for iPad?

Thanks for the input. I took a look at the thread you linked. It's a good thread but it doen't answer this particular question, neither do the links that it includes. The texture settings which are critical to the function of many brushes seem not to be included in this version of Photoshop.

I'm exited to see Adobe finally release a tablet-centric version of real Photoshop but even the Procreate app can import Photoshop brushes and retain this function. I really hope they get this feature included soon.

I am not familiar with the iPad version, but a quick look at the user guide appears to show a very cut down Brush Settings compared to the full version

There's not even any mention of Texture.   I think our @jane-e might use Photoshop on the iPad, so we'll see if she can be of more help.
