brush tip options

I find that when I am burning or dodging in a light are of an image that it is often difficult to see the brush tip I have the crosshair activated Is there any way to change the brush tip by adding a color to make it more visible?

Inspiring

A brush is a grayscale thing, it can't have its own color. But you can try to change the appearance of the brush tip contour. Open Edit > Preferences > Cursors and experiment with the settings.
