Brushes deleted after update [Branched from Re: Brushes keep changing back to default...]

No every update all brushes are deleted and then stock Kyle's brushes are put back in as default. I have to load any special brushes after every update. Its as if Adobe doesn't want you to have brushes outside their system. Lots of photographers experiencing it. So frustrating.

When there is an update, Photoshop is not suppose to reset the preferences. So it is possible that you may have found a bug. If I recall brushes are also suppose to be stored in the file that is using the new brushes (or is that Illustrator?) Anyway I don't use new brushes that much so I will let someone else answer this.

In the meantime if you have a twitter account I recommend that you ask Adobe and see if this is a known issue, a bug or some new feature that I am not aware of.

Apparently there is a bug in the forum at the moment. It is adding the link twice. Both links are identical.

UH, why are you saying no? This is not your thread, nor is updating Photoshop the issue of this thread. I recommend that you create a new thread and ask what to do.
    Thank you...

It looked the thread was about brushes turning back to default so I mentioned a similar issue. Perhaps you know the answer. Thank You.
