Brushes disappered

I created some new brushes by myself and then I quitted Photoshop but after I opening Photoshop again a moment later ALL my brushes disappered including my new brushes I created and modified. I dont think I clicked "reset brushes", and Im sure I have saved my new brushes settings as usual before quitting. I'm unhappy with this terrible bug so I would really appreciate it if Adobe is going to fix this bug.

Okay, I had this same problem, 2 months ago and just now. All of my custom brushes, made by me, and brushes I've downloaded from websites, disappeared. Nowhere to be found. I'm with Photoshop 21.1.1 and my operating system is Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit. Any help or explanation of how to prevent this would be highly appreciated.

P.S. yes, I'm time to time exporting .ABR file, but I can't do that every day

»Nowhere to be found. «

How did you installe them?

Ideally you shoudl copy them to teh Brushes Folder of your user account, that way the would at least be avaulable from the Brushes Panel’s pop-up menu.

From PS - the Brush menu - Import.Yes, reasonable for the brushes that I've downloaded. What about for those who I made myself?

You are asking Adobe to fix a bug, but you are apparently using an old version.  Can you see how that doesn't make a lot of sense?  Update to 21.1.1 and try again.  If you still have a problem we at least need to know what operating system you are using.

What do you mean? Which application are you using?

If you saved the abr file it should still be somewhere on your computer and if you saved it to one of the two Brushes Folders it should be available in the Brushes Panels’s pop-up menu.

Aside from that it is undeniably unfortunate that the preferences appear not to have been saved correctly on quitting you have not actually established that this was due to a Photoshop bug.

There might be a permissions issue for example.
