1. Version 26.5

2. Windows 11 Pro, Version: 23H2

3. Steps:

- Open Photoshop and create a new document
- Add text layer with any font
- Go to Filter > Blur Gallery > Iris Blur
- Iris Blur effect is applied, but on-canvas blur handles are not visible and cannot be adjusted, not just iris blur but all blur tools that can be adjust by using handle

4. Expected: Iris Blur on-canvas handles (ellipse and pins) should appear and be adjustable
Actual: No on-canvas handles appear, so I cannot manually adjust the blur area

@danang_adhi_8033 it's working as expected for me with Photoshop version 26.5, have you tried manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset

Enable show edit pins: while you have the any of the filters in the Blur gallery, go to the Menu bar/View/Show/Edit pins.

I see — this might be the main issue. Looks like at some point I accidentally disabled it, which made it invisible. I tried it earlier and turns out that was it. So, it probably wasn’t a bug after all. Big thanxx for more clariffying it💪

@danang_adhi_8033 the preferences can sometimes get corrupt, resetting them takes PS back to it's default state

I’m curious what actually caused the handle not to appear? Did I accidentally disable something? Or was it just a pure bug?

FYI, I’ve tried all the usual methods like restarting the device and repeatedly trying to open Photoshop, but it still won’t work. I’m honestly confused about what to do next, because it’s usually fine and never acts up like this.
