Question

Bug That Doesn't Allow Me To Move Objects

The object just snaps back into place whenever I try to move it, it allows me to nudge, and if I close/reopen it goes away, but it is very persistent and is gradually getting worse. Thought the last update would help in some way but it hasn't.

I can also assure there are no locked, or anchored layers, and can happen to individual layers as well.

Any help appreciated.

The issue has continued to occur, despite both MacOS and Photoshop updates. Please advise.

Hi there, all that it would be is when I try to move an object with the 'Move' tool. It happens randomly, no sequences cause it and it happens on anything (layer, shape, group).

My MacOS is 10.14.5 and photoshop version is 21.1.1

Hi there,

We are sorry about the experience with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you are using along with the operating system of your computer?

Are you facing the issue with a specific file or with any file you try to work on?

You can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Please backup your preferences prior to resetting them. You can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html

Regards,

Nikunj
