Question

Bug when turning the application frame off, tools don't work

Hi all, I've just upgraded to the latest version 25.1 and unfortunately I have to say that all the tools don't work when the "application framework" is disabled on the Mac. Restarting, reinstalling, getting full access in system preferences do not help. After restoring the framework, everything works normally. How can this be remedied?

Thanks, I did the update, but it must be Sonoma 14.1.1 and the problem disapeared. Ufff 🙂

Much appreciate for help.

@Krzysztof5F9A @johnc4974788 are you running Mac OS Sonoma? If so update to version 14.1 - the tools issues were addressed with the Mac OS update.

Same problem here. I go to select a tool from a palette and the finder/desktop is selected, taking me out of photoshop. When I turn on "Application Frame" I am able to select the tools fine, however, this is not an ideal workaround, because when no file is open, the appication frame blocks other windows and has to be minimized. This makes my workflow difficult.
