Bugs in Photoshop Version 23.4.2

Photoshop, Version 23.4.2 - Mac OS

New Bug 1: No longer being able to automatically select colour from the Palette.

Process, With a layer shape or colour fill selected in the Layers Panel. Clicking a colour in the palette now behaves irratically and does not always change to the requested colour. Sometimes it changes as expected, other times you need to select 4 or 5 colours before it eventually works.

New Bug 2: The Gradient tool is now behaving irratically. Dragging a gradient direction in canvas does not behave as expected.

Hi. Have you tried fixing those issues by resetting the preferences? https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences
