Call jsx from os x command line with arguments

On a mac, I need to pass two file paths to the jsx program and be able to call it from the command line.  I'm wondering if I need to build an applescript wrapper to do this.  Writing the javascript photoshop code was wonderfully smooth and easy.  I'm sad this is tricky and undocumented.
