Camara raw error

In the new version of photoshop (24.2.1) i cannot use the camera raw filter, heres what happens: open photoshop>open image (png)>open filter menu>select "camera raw filter">edit image>hit accept>after that image is no longer editable in photoshop (absolutely no tool is afecting the image) and also it disappears from the little prewiev screen from the "layers" pannel

Try resetting the Camera Raw preferences:
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (macOS*) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"
