Camera Raw problem need to disable

For some unknown reason I just tried opening a file downloaded from my Dropbox and Camera Raw window keeps popping up, cropping image and I'm unable to just load file and edit as I've been doing for years

How do I disable Camera Raw?

      You can also press the shift key when you click on the open button in the dialog box, and this will bypass opening the file in Camera Raw.
