Hello,

I have issues with my monthly abo fo Photoshop CC which I got with Lightroom this year. I have Create Cloud where I can see my Photoshop and could uninstall. But it says also that problems can happen.

I want to delete and re-install the program as I have issues with it now. I used the brush and something happend. It is not doing what it should do.
I thought re-installing the problem will help. But now I am scared that if I delete the program, I can have issues?

Thought first, it will be easy just to download it thru creative cloud. Possible????

Please help. Re-installing seems the only way.

thanks a lot

alex

A wee addendum to what Chuck Akash and Chuck have said.  If you are reinstalling because of issues, then I'd be inclined to use the Cleaner Tool after uninstalling, and before reinstalling.  This will make sure that preference and other supporting files are removed, in case that's where the issue lies.

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

It is highly likely that a reinstall will fix your issue, but if it doesn't, then it might be to do with mouse or tablet, like a driver or API (the software that interfaces the tablet/mouse to the operating system

If you are 'still' having a problem after this, then tell us what mouse or tablet is causing the issue, and what operating system you are using?

Try what Akash mentioned, as that normally will fix issues like that, but if it doesn't, you can uninstall and reinstall PS through the create cloud app manger. I've done it many, many times.

    Hi Alex,

As you've mentioned that Photoshop brush tool is not working as it should, I would recommend that you restore the app preferences to default instead of reinstalling it which is probably not going to resolve the problem. Refer this article to know how to restore Photoshop's preferences: Preferences in Photoshop

Let us know if that helps

    Thanks,
