Can i turn on live preview for the Curves adjustment tool?

Would anyone be able to answer my question whether or not you can turn on live preview for the curves tool in photoshop so that as i drag and adjust the curve it is showing what it will do rather than me having to let go in order to see the effect? If it is possible how do i do this?

Curves is an Adjuustment and can also be applied as an Adjustment Layer, but it is not a Photoshop Tool.

The Preview can be tiurned on and off manually or by hitting »P«.

I suspect they might. be talking about the »destructive« Curves Adjustment. Though I wonder if they might be talking about Paths even …

There's no option that I'm aware of, it just works like that out of the box, might be worth trying a reset of the preferences

You may want to backup your settings before doing the reset

Hey, I tried this and it works for me now, not sure what setting was changed but it does it now so thank you for your help.

Live preview works fine for me with Photoshop 20.0.6 using curve adjustments

I am using the same version, do you have an option anywhere to turn it off or on?
