Can someone solve my Photoshop 2020 colour picker issue

Hello Community,

 

This is my first post here. I have an issue with my colour picker since upgrading to Photoshop 2020.

 

I took a screen grab of my colour picker, it seems to have an issue smoothing colours and has been missing certain colours in photoshop files.

 

A customer provided me with a psd graphic and a pdf, the gradient is smooth on the PDF but blocky in Photoshop.

 

Can anyone shed some light on this for me please.

That's a defective monitor profile, most likely distributed from the manufacturer through Windows Update.

 

If you don't have a calibrator to make a new profile, use sRGB IEC61966-2.1 until you do. Relaunch Photoshop when done so that it can load the new profile at startup.
