Can't adjust images in CS3

I've been editing photographs in CS 3 -- adjusting curves, color balance, etc... And all of a sudden, I can no longer edit the images. They're not indexed. Theyre RGB. I can add meta data, etc, under file info, and re-size, save, etc -- but no image editing. It just stopped.

Any ideas?

    Hi Sara,

We're sorry to hear about this, as you're not able to edit the images in Photoshop, could you please let us know what image format you're working with?

Also, could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if it helps: Preferences in Photoshop

Please make sure to back up your custom presets and brushes

    Regards,

    Sahil

    Hi Sahil,

    Thanks for your quick answer.

    I'm working with JPGs.

Are you suggesting that I re-set ALL preferences?

    Thaniks!

Thank you -- I just did that. It worked!
