Can't dock dock panels anymore?

Hi There, not sure if this is a bug or a change but I can no longer dock panels in Photoshop.

 

Previously, if I dragged panels to say the right side, it would turn blue, then dropping would dock the panel to the side. But for some reason, I no longer see blue and can't dock panels.

 

If you have a laptop, you have to fix everything each time you dock/undock from a monitor.

 

Have tried...
- Resetting the workspace
- Temporarily enabling the Application Frame

- Updating to the latest version of Photoshop

 

Setup...

- MacOS 13.6.3
- Photoshop 25.3.1

 

Does anyone know how to fix?

    OK, figured this out. I use an app called Rectangle Pro which fixes all the painful issues with MacOS windows but it seems to stop Photoshop from docking panels.

     

    After more experimentation, it seems it's the 'Snap Areas' feature, if you disable the dragging feature in Settings, you can use both apps - I only use the Rectangle shortcuts anyway, not the dragging features.

     

     

    After disabling, Phtoshop docks panels correctly. Will contact the developer.

    I have a 2012 Mac Mini running macOS Ventura 13.6.3 with Photoshop 2024 (ps ver 25.3.1) and have no problem docking panels to either side of Photoshop.

     

    If you go to Window>Workspace and click Essentials (Default) are the panels docked?

     

    Maybe try a Photoshop preferences reset by going to Photoshop 2024>Settings>General, clicking Reset Preferences On Quit and restarting Photoshop.

        Are you using multiple screens?  Panels won't dock if the workspace extends to a addional screen.  I have just tried turning off my peripheral screens, and panels still won't dock.  Panels will dock side to side but for a minute there, I thought that was not working ether because it needed a lot more overlap than I expected.  I'm using Windows 11

        Thanks for that, I'm not using multiple screens and the laptop is set to mirror when connected to a display.

         

        But even when on the laptop only, I can't dock panels anymore - no matter what I do.

         

        Are there any Mac users on 13.5 that can dock panels to the side?
