Can't Export as CYMK

I've tried seemingly everything. I've edited my color profile settings, I've tried converting to color profiles, I've tried assigning color profiles, I've made sure that "convert to RGB" is unchecked within the export page, but no matter what I try, it still exports as RGB. Even when trying to export as different file formats, I still get the same results.

"Export" has a slightly different meaning in Photoshop, from what you're used to in video-related apps.

In Photoshop, the primary output method is Save As. Export is a secondary function, intended only for screen images, mainly web. That's why CMYK is not an option.

Export doesn't even save the original file, it saves out a copy and leaves the original untouched and still open.

Which exact export operation are you using?

And why do you export instead of using »Save As«?

"Save as" fixed it. I always just used the "export" button because I mainly work in video. It completely slipped my mind that there was another way to export the file aside from the actual export button itself. Thanks!
