Can't get photoshop CS5 Elements to install..

Hello, so I just got a brand new MacBook Pro and since they upgrade everything I do not a have disk drive, but my photoshop is on a disk. I have copied the entire program to a thumb drive so I can bypass the fact that I don't have a disk drive. So I get all the way to downloading  and it asks to insert the disk. Obviously I can't insert the disk with no disk drive. So I went to this website and downloaded photoshop cs5 elements when I go to install it says " “Install” can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image." What can I do??? I really want photoshop on this computer for the main reason of traveling, since I am a photographer and take a million photos I would like to edit along the way.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

Heather

Check what license you own. It's no use downloading Photoshop CS5 if your license is for Photoshop Elements, even if you can somehow make it work in your new Mac OS.

There is no Photoshop CS5 Elements. There is Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop Elements. Completely different software.

I assume you mean Photoshop CS5.

I presume you're trying to install on macOS Sierra.

For installing CS5 on Sierra try Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra)
