Can't Import asl into Photoshop

When trying to import legacy styless I keep getting this error in Photoshop, 

Could not load the styles 01.asl because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered.

Can someone please help me?  These are 3rd party files that worked on my old Macbook Pro 15 in but don't work on my new Macbook Pro 16 in. What gives?
