  1. Version of the app: 24.4.1
  2. Platform and OS version: macOS Ventura 13.3.1
  3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Open Photoshop, click on any existing file thumbnail (or name).
  4. Expected result and actual result: Clicking on the thumbnail (or filename) should open that file; but nothing happens.

Let's start with a reset of preferences to see if this fixes the issue.

Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings. You can also reset preferences on quit if Photoshop is running by going into General Preferences>General>Reset on Quit.

Option + Command + Shift didn't do anything, but resetting from Settings kind of worked. It removed all of my files, but after I opened one and closed it, I was able to open it again using the thumbnail. Thank you.
