Question

Can't pause or stop 3D rendering?! There's a message re escape key, but no

There's a message re escape key via a message box lower left, but escape key doesn't stop it...  it's either force quit and lose the current state, or let it go till it's over.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

    Hi David

Escape works fine here to stop rendering on CC2019 (v20.0.1) and Windows 10 v1803.

Can you give some system and version details - the easiest way is to go to Photoshop's Help >System info click copy and paste the info here

    Hi

I have two installation of Photoshop running at the moment.  Both are rendering a complex 3d model at a resolution of about 16" x 26" at 300dpi...  Neither one quits when I press the esc key when Photoshop CC is the application showing in the upper left of the top menu bar.

Photoshop CC 2018 running on a new Macbook Pro 2018 2.9 6 core i9, 32gb ram, 560x gpu, High Sierra latest.

escape button on left side of the touch bar...  does not stop the render...

nor does clicking the render icon in the 3d window... or anything else I found, other than a force quit.

Photoshop CC 2015 running on a Mac Pro 2010 12 core 3.3, 64gb ram, nVidia Quadro K5000 gpu, Mavericks 10.9.5

esc button upper left of mac wired keyboard... does not stop the render.  It does give me a few seconds of beachball while the blue render box continues it's march.

is the gpu setting unticked or grayed out?
