can't shut down properly

I turned on preset sync in PS preferences but Photoshop keeps running. That's why I decided to turn it off again, but whatever choice I make No or Yes, Photoshop keeps running and doesn't close.

Problem solved.
After 5 days of suffering and frustration ,out of the bleu, photoshop quit normally.

I crowed victory too soon.
Still the same problem. Into the bargain, with every restart he makes new swatches, brushes and gradients (from Imac local 1,2,3,4…),

Can anybody help me ?
