Can´t use photoshop

Hi, I tried to use Photoshop for the first time after I purchased it but I can not use it. My camera raw is updated but still cant open any raw nef file. I have Nikon D3400 and it was working fine with the free trial... Now the I bought it I cant use it...I tried canceling the subscription but now i have to pay for a percent of what is left for the anual subscription. I am very dissapointed, I have tried already a lot of the solutions I have found on the fórums. please help, otherwise I would like to cancel my subsciption with out losing money for a product that I never could use. Thank you.
