Can't use Photoshop on one computer [Reverted to trial version]

We have used many versions of Photoshop for many years on our two computers, using one purchase of the software.  The software was recently updated to 23.5.1 on both machines.  Now for some reason, attempting to launch Photoshop on one of the machines leads to "Start your free trial of Photoshop, or buy now".  The only way I can get out of this state is to Force Quit Photoshop.  PS still works on the other machine, but I'm afraid to experiment on it lest I lose usage there too.  How do I identify our purchase on the machine with the problem?  We are under macOS Monterey, version 12.6.

If you're getting the message even though you're correctly signed in on the computer running the trial version, then one option to try is:
