Cannot edit text in Photoshop 2021 on Windows computer

It's a known issue when working in CMYK mode, works fine with RGB

Sorry that you cannot edit text in Photoshop 2021. It seems that either you're working with a corrupt font or the tool itself is not functioning properly.

• Please refer the steps below and restore Photoshop app preferences to default:

To restore preferences quickly using a keyboard shortcut:

Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

Note: Using the keyboard shortcut, preference files for custom shortcuts, workspaces, and color settings will also be reset to default.

• If that doesn't help in resolving the issue, troubleshoot the particular text font you're working with, refer Troubleshoot fonts issues in Adobe Photoshop CC, 2015, 2014, CS6, CS5
