Cannot find in the properties panel Quick Actions : Remove Background

Hello, 

In the properties panel, under Quick Actions, I only have Trim/Crop/Rotate/Image Size but not remove background which would be helpful. I am using a Mac and I have Photoshop's last version. Thank you in advance for your help.

You didn't show your Layers panel, so please look there. You might have selected a Type layer, Adjustment layer, or Smart Object — or you need to unlock a Background layer (click the Lock icon).

 

Does that work? If not, show your Layers panel so we can see what is active.
