Question

Cannot Parse File - .RAF

Hey,

I often use Photoshop to edit photos quickly... I'll take 30 - 40 photos of a product and it's quicker to pick out and edit the 4 or 5 I want individually in photoshop than it is to create lightroom catalogues etc.

Anyway, after years of doing this - suddenly, about 90% of RAF files (Raw files from Fuji cameras) won't open. It just says "Could not open “filename.RAF” because the file-format module cannot parse the file."

This is happening from two different cameras /cards - so it's not just one card. I can't seem to find an answer or solution for this happening anywhere. Photoshop and Camera Raw are all up to date.

Please help - driving me insane.

Thank you!

You can convert them to DNG format using the tool below:

But some files open and some don't? Like a photo I've taken will open, the next one won't. I don't want to be taking extra steps to convert all the files when I shouldn't have to. Deleting the settings worked briefly, but now it's happening again.

So frustrating.
