Question

Cannot transform any image

This began yesterday--Tranforming (rasterized) images wasn't a problem until the end of the day, but I decided to restart my computer to see if that helped. It didn't. I saw the update available today and I did that, but still the same problem.

Everytime I try to click on an image and Command+T, I get this message:

"Could not transform the path because the selected portion of the path does not enclose any pixels."

I assure you, it does. It doesn't work on any of the images I have been working on the entire time in this document.

If you have a work path selected when you use Free Transform, the path will be transformed rather than the selected layer. The only path that does not include any pixels in a single point.  I suspect you have a single point path selected.

Hi,

I was having exactly the same problem and couldn't figure out what was going on.

Thank you T Dennis for your advice. I had unwhittingly created a work path. Once this was deleted Free Transform worked fine.

Did you reset your preferences, when you reinstalled?
