canon eos r7 raw files converting

When I convert canon eos r7 raw files by Adobe dng converter, do I loose some quality in the final subject? BR: Ahti V

With lossless conversion, the raw in the DNG is as raw as your original data. 

What you 'lose' is proprietary metadata. But then being proprietary, only the Canon software could use it. No other raw converters would understand or use this data, it is proprietary and not understood. Just as "Saturation +25" in ACR or LR isn't understood in any other (non Adobe) product.

You should not lose anything in terms of pixel information by converting to DNG. What you could lose is some Canon only metadata stored alongside the image which would be ignored by Adobe Camera Raw but may be used by Canon's own convertor (DPP)
