Hi,

Every time i try to write text, i get this error:

"Could not use the type tool because the scratch disks are full"

Although my disk is not full, i have 300 GB space.

Please help 😊

In the past we’ve seen this happen when the disk does really fill up unexpectedly. Please stop with the “scratch disk full” message on screen, do not click OK. Now check the available disk space with Photoshop still in the error.

Hi there,

We are sorry about the experience with Photoshop when trying to use the add any text to the document. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you are using along with your computer's operating system?

You can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

You can also check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/scratch-disks-preferences.html

If you still experience the same issue, please check the size/dimensions of the document you are working on. Trying creating a new blank document and check if the issue persists.

Regards,

Nikunj
