Changes to layer still show old version of the layer underneath - Legacy Compositing fix na
I have Photoshop 21.2.0 .
I have a GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card and I am running the driver version 27.21.14.4148 - which is the latest studio version of the driver released on 24th June.
The Legacy Compositing option is off and I have seen others say doing this is the solution, but it made no difference for me.
Since the last update I have been having problems where when I edit a layer the old version of the layer stays on the screen behind the new version. The only way to get rid of it is to close the file and open it again.
For example -
I bring in an image as a new layer
I transform the image and move it into place without having placed it, but the original version of the image stays behind the new one.
or
I edit a type layer
The old text stays behind the next text.
And if I turn off layers I can still see them.
What is causing this and how can I fix it? Many thanks for your assistance.
