Changing Colours in Set Areas

Hi guys,

I'm trying to edit the colours on a map of the UK, for the sales department, to reflect different areas for difference salesmen.

The map is broken down into counties with boundary lines and I need to change the colours of some of them.  Without painting, or physically drawing the colours on, is there a way I can switch the colours?

Thanks,

You can try this in some way:

Use Quick Selection or Magic Wand Tool (W) and select area of country. If it works fine you can use any color adjustments tools (Hue/Saturation, Selective Color, Replace Color) to change original color

You can also use large brush (very large) and just paint with on click selected areas. This way you can change opacity and color mode of this brush to do it better

You can also try to use Paint Bucket Tool (G) and paint selected (or not) areas

If one has created a Selection I would recommend using Solid Color Layers (Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color) or Adjustment layers instead of painting or destructively applying Adjustments.

Hi

Are the counties in different colors, if so you could try Image > Adjustments > Replace Color
