Changing default time for slideshows

I am importing a large batch of still images into Photoshop CC to make a slideshow.

When I drag the still images into the Timeline, each clip is defaulted to 5 seconds apiece.

I want each to be 3 seconds.

Is there a preference setting so that the default will import the images as 3 second apiece, rather then the 5 seconds it currently defaults to?

It sure would save me a lot of time!

Many thanks,

Frederico Dalton

    Hi

I don't know how to set that default , but is there any reason why you cannot do this.

1.Import your images as a Layer Stack (1 image per layer) using File - Scripts - Load Files into Stack

    2. Create a Frame animation

    3. In the menu at the top right of the timeline - Create frames From Layers

    4. In the timeline highlight all the frames (Click on the first and shift click on the last)

    5. Change the time value for any one of the frames to 3 seconds (as all are highlighted they will all change)

    6. Click at the bottom left to change to a video timeline

    Hi Frederico,

The same issue has been discussed here Photoshop: Ability to set the default frame duration for newly added clips in the video timeline | Photoshop Family Cust…

Let us know if that helps.
