% character always moves to the beginning of the text

Hi, I'm using Photoshop 2024 in the version 25.1.0. Whenever I write a number and then enter the % character, the percent sign moves to the beginning of the text (instead of 35% ist says %35). I have already reinstalled Photoshop, reset all the default settings and also tried the middle eastern function. Does anyone have any idea why the percentage sign always moves in front of the number? THANKS!
