Chrome Filter- Possible to Preserve Image Colors?

Hello! I'm hoping someone can help me answer a question I have about the filter gallery. I found that for my current project, using the Filter Gallery -> Sketch -> Chrome filter produces the perfect 3-D effect that I'm looking for. The problem is I'd like to retain the colors of my illustration (and it seems with all the Sketch filters, it goes grayscale). If anyone knows of a way to preserve the colors while still using the effect, or something that would give me the same look, it would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Before you apply the Chrome filter duplicate the layer, apply the chrome filter to the duplicated layer and then change the layer blend mode to Luminosity.

After running the filter, Edit > Fade [Luminosity]
