Clipping mask where base layer is transparent or removed and clipped layers retain the base shape.

Hello

I have layers clipped to a base layer and I would like to remove the base layer and have the clipped layers retain the shape of  the original base layer. Is this possible? I feel its a simple answer but its just out of reach!

 

Is clipping masks the wrong way to do this?

    Try setting the base-layer to Fill 0% and uncheck »Blend Clipped Layers as Group«.
