Question

clone stamp rotate - no preview

I am trying to use the clone stamp and rotating the result to a certain angle. I just learnt you could do that and I watched a few video tutorials about it. However, in my case, it doesn't work properly. Whether I use the clone source panel or the shift+alt+> shortcut, the preview I get in the stamped area disappears and then it shows me a different part of the image, not the sampled part. I can see the angle of the rotation modifying (in the clone source panel) and if I click, I do get a rotated image of what I first sampled, but the preview (before clicking) shows a completely different thing so it makes impossible to align the rotation to anything. In the preview it looks as if it's rotating the whole image, not just the sampled part. Anyone can verify if they have the same behaviour? Or can you tell me what am I doing wrong?

There is a bug with the stamp tool, which Adobe is aware. Just hopefully they'll fix it soon.
