I was opening jpg-images in photoshop so that i could edit them.

It worked when i pressed the menu-item and then "save as". The shortcut made photoshop crash, but for some reason, this issue doesn't happen anymore. I restarted my computer and it seemed to fix it.

I have had problems like that happen. I always restart my machine before trying to fix problem by restoring my Photoshop Preferences. To insurethe  problem was not something that got mess up in the running Windows or Photshop.

Hi, are you sorry that you are having problems with Adobe Photoshop? Can I ask you if this problem occurs with only this file or with others? Also, have you tried to reset the Adobe Photoshop prefereze?

Photoshop is not a File editor it edit Photoshop Documents and the shortcut CMD+SHIIFT+S is for Photoshop "Save As" feature.  Does "Save As" work when you use your mouse on menu item File>Save As...  (Crash or Open dialog)???
